G11

This course covers Modules 1.1 and 2.3.

The purpose of this course is to provide riggers and future crane operators with a solid theoretical foundation in crane operations. The G11 theory course is a prerequisite for all crane operator training.

The course covers:

  • Basic HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
  • Requirements for riggers/crane operators
  • Slings and lifting accessories
  • Accidents, crane construction, and operation principles

After passing the theory course, participants must complete practical training, which can be carried out at SSGR.

A certificate of competence is issued upon successful completion of both theory and practical training.

G20

This course provides basic safety training for operators of fixed-mounted hydraulic cranes.
The goal is for participants to gain essential theoretical knowledge to ensure safe use of fixed hydraulic cranes and prevent accidents during operation.

The course covers (20 hours):

  • Safety regulations
  • Hydraulics
  • Mechanics
  • Certification
  • Load charts
  • Types of cranes
  • Maintenance

  • Final exam
*Prerequisite: Certified G11 Rigger and Signal Training

After completing the G20 theory and practical modules, participants must undergo practical training with the G20 fixed-mounted hydraulic crane. This can be done:

  • With a company-assigned mentor (40 hours)
  • Or through Hesselberg (24 hours) before the final evaluation
