Forklift operator course

A forklift operator course gives you both theory and practice in the safe use of forklifts in classes T1 - T5, based on current training plans. With the right expertise, you reduce the risk of accidents and create a safer and more efficient working environment. After completing the course, you will receive a forklift operators certificate (truck certificate) that documents that you have the necessary training and certification.

Why take a forklift operator course?

In many industries today, there is a fundamental need for handling materials and other goods. We want to give participants good theoretical and practical training in the safe use of forklifts based on current training plans.

A forklift driver with the right competence and understanding will help reduce the chances of accidents and incidents in connection with work operations. With a forklift certificate from Hesselberg you get a valid qualification and gives you greater opportunities on the job market.

Duration and content

Our forklift courses run over 3 days and are structured as follows:

  • 1.5 days of theory
  • 1.5 days of practice

The final theoretical exam is taken online on the attendance day for Module 1, and the final exam for Module 2.2 is given upon completion of the module.

By taking an intensive course you complete Modul 1 as usual at home, but the duration of the course is from 08:00-18:00 on 2 days.

Prices

Prices vary depending on whether you choose an express/intensive course, individual classes, or a multi-day course.

  • An express/intesive course costs NOK 2,990
  • A three-day course costs NOK 7,500 (lunch not included – an additional NOK 150 for lunch at the Lindeberg location)
  • Individual classes such as T1 or T2 cost between NOK 1,700–2,990 depending on the class selected

Explanation of classes:

At Hesselberg, you can take truck courses in several truck classes:

  • Class T1 = Pallet stacker, towing tractor and straddle truck (pedestrian stackers and pedestrian support-leg forklifts)
  • Class T2 = Reach truck and 4-way truck
  • Class T3 = High-lift order picker / Swing-reach / Side loader / Operator-up forklift
  • Class T4 = Counterbalance forklift

We also offer courses for T1 trucks for those who want solid theoretical and practical training in the safe use of forklifts.
