Why take a machine operator course?
The goal of our machine operator courses is to give you both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to obtain a machine operator's license. The training provides a basic understanding of the safe use of mass-moving machinery, so that accidents are avoided.
The correct use of machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders and dump trucks is of great importance for safety, both for the machine operator and other personnel. Misjudgments can have major consequences and lead to damage to both people, machines and the environment. Positive attitudes towards safety are therefore important during the training.
We use course leaders with many years of experience from industries where heavier machinery is actively used. Then you, as a course participant, will receive solid training from a professional who knows your work tasks.
Duration and content
Modules 1, 2.1, and 3.1 are conducted over 5 days.
You can complete Module 4.1 with us — this includes 32 classroom hours per machine class, and must be arranged before the course starts.
Alternatively, you may complete Module 4.1 with a workplace mentor in your own company. In that case, a mentor agreement must be made with us.

Prices
The starting price for the heavy equipment course is NOK 6,800, which includes theoretical training in Modules 1, 2.1, and 3.1.
For Module 4.1, you can choose:
- Training with a workplace mentor (including certification exam): NOK 4,000
- Or, full training in one or more machine classes: NOK 12,000 per machine class
- Certification exam: NOK 1,700 per class
Explanation of classes:
- Class M1 = Dozer
- Class M2 = Excavator
- Class M3 = Grader
- Class M4 = Wheel Loader
- Class M5 = Backhoe Loader
- Class M6 = Dump Truck
