Description

The 150 AETJ-C is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou, of the boom lift type.

It belongs to the AETJ series among Manitou's mobile elevating work platforms, which is Manitou's range of electric articulating boom lifts specifically adapted for industrial use on level surfaces.

AETJ stands for Articulated Electric Telescopic Jib, an articulating arm with electric drive and a telescopic boom. The number 150 refers to the working height of approximately 15 metres, and C stands for Compact, referring to the machine's slim width of 1.50 metres.

The compact width is what sets the AETJ-C apart from the all-terrain ATJ models. Where ATJ machines such as the 160 ATJ are built for outdoor use on rough ground, the 150 AETJ-C is built for indoor industrial use where space is tight.

With a width of 1.50 metres it passes through most industrial doors and into tight production lines and warehouses. The non-marking tyres protect the surface, and the battery lasts a full working day.

Working height is 14.60 metres and outreach is 7.13 metres. As an articulating boom lift it can reach around obstacles and over edges, distinguishing it from vertical boom lifts such as the 80–100 VJR which only lift straight up.

The 150 AETJ-C is available in two variants. The standard model has conventional separate controls for each movement. The 150 AETJ-C 3D is equipped with 3D control, a joystick that operates all boom movements simultaneously. This provides faster and more precise positioning, particularly useful in repetitive work where the operator needs to move the basket many times throughout the day.

If you need greater outreach and are willing to accept additional width, the 170 AETJ-L is available in the same series with 16.51 metres of working height and 9 metres of outreach.

Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a machine operator course with us.
