Description

The 160 ATJ+ e is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou of the boom lift type, more specifically an articulating boom lift.

It is the electric alternative to the 160 ATJ+ among Manitou's mobile elevating work platforms and provides the same working height and basket capacity without engine and exhaust emissions.

Where diesel-powered ATJ lifts require exhaust ventilation and produce noise in the working environment, the 160 ATJ+ e delivers the same working height and outreach with 100% electric drive. This makes it a natural choice for indoor work in buildings, industry and logistics facilities, but it is equally well suited outdoors thanks to four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and a robust all-terrain chassis.

Working height is 16.22 metres and outreach is 8.34 metres. The basket holds 408 kg and 3 persons, the turret rotates 350 degrees, and the basket swivels 90 degrees to each side. The battery is 48V and 480 Ah, and the machine is equipped with a built-in charger. Noise level is below 70 dB, and the non-marking tyres protect floors and surfaces indoors.

In addition to the standard model, the 160 ATJ+ e RC is available with continuous turret rotation, the choice where the machine cannot be moved between working positions and the operator needs unlimited swing freedom.

If you need diesel drive or greater working height, the 160 ATJ+ is available with the same basket capacity and terrain capability, and the 180 ATJ e is the electric alternative with 18 metres of working height.

All models are equipped with Manitou's Secondary Protection System (SPS), a safety cable in front of the control panel that stops the machine immediately upon unintended contact.

Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a machine operator course with us.
