Description
The 180 ATJ e is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou of the boom lift type.
It is the electric alternative to the 180 ATJ among Manitou's mobile elevating work platforms and provides the same working height and outreach without engine and exhaust emissions.
Where diesel-powered ATJ lifts require exhaust ventilation and produce noise in the working environment, the 180 ATJ e delivers the same performance with 100% electric drive. This makes it a natural choice for indoor work in buildings, industry and logistics facilities, but it is equally well suited outdoors thanks to four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and an active oscillating axle that provides stability on uneven ground. As an articulating boom lift it can reach around obstacles and into areas that are difficult to access without moving the machine.
Working height is 18.19 metres and outreach is 10.33 metres. The basket is galvanised, holds 250 kg and 2 persons, and the turret rotates 350 degrees. The basket swivels 90 degrees to each side. The battery is 48V and 480 Ah with a built-in charger, and the machine delivers up to 48 work cycles per charge. The non-marking tyres protect floors and surfaces indoors.
In addition to the standard model, the 180 ATJ e RC is available with continuous turret rotation, the choice where the machine cannot be moved between working positions and the operator needs unlimited swing freedom.
If you need diesel drive, the 180 ATJ is available with the same working height and outreach. If you need greater working height with electric drive, the 200 ATJ e is available with 20 metres of working height.
All models are equipped with Manitou's Secondary Protection System (SPS), a safety cable in front of the control panel that stops the machine immediately upon unintended contact.
Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a machine operator course with us.
