Description
The 280 TJ ST5 is a diesel-powered mobile elevating work platform from Manitou, of the telescopic boom lift type.
It is the largest model in the TJ series among Manitou's mobile elevating work platforms. With 27.73 metres of working height and 21.45 metres of horizontal outreach, this is the machine for assignments where neither height nor outreach can be compromised.
A distinguishing feature of the 280 TJ is the option for negative reach: the boom can be lowered below machine level, allowing work on the underside of bridges, roof overhangs and other structures where the boom needs to reach downwards.
The basket has dual capacity, 240 kg at full outreach and 350 kg at reduced outreach, and holds up to 3 persons. The turret rotates 360 degrees, and four-wheel drive with four-wheel steering provides good mobility on demanding ground.
