Description
In warehouses, production facilities and shopping centres, space is tight and the floor is vulnerable. The 80 VJR is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou of the vertical mast lift type, built precisely for these environments.
It is the smallest in Manitou's range of mobile elevating work platforms with a vertical mast. V stands for vertical mast, J for jib and R for rotation. The number 80 refers to the working height of approximately 8 metres. The jib at the top allows the operator to reach out to the side and over edges, not just straight up, with an outreach of 3.20 metres.
With a width of 99 cm it passes through most industrial doors and tight aisles. The non-marking tyres protect floor coverings, and the perforated basket floor provides good downward visibility. The turret rotates 350 degrees, and the battery lasts a full working day without charging.
Typical applications are maintenance of technical installations, lighting and ventilation systems, work in shelving systems and high-bay warehouses, and indoor facade and ceiling finishing work in large buildings.
If you need greater working height, the 100 VJR is available with 9.85 metres of working height. If you need a scissor lift with similar working height, the SE 0808 is an alternative, but without the jib's ability to reach to the side.
Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a machine operator course with us.
