Description
The 90 V'Air is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou, of the vertical mast lift type with an articulating arm.
It belongs to the V'Air series among Manitou's mobile elevating work platforms and is purpose-built for aircraft maintenance and repair. Where standard VJR models are designed for industrial buildings and warehouses, the 90 V'Air is designed for hangar use where the requirements for basket flexibility are stricter. The basket can be tilted in three positions and the side panels can be opened, allowing the operator to work close to the aircraft fuselage from different angles.
With a width of 1.10 metres and a turning radius of under 2 metres, it moves easily through tight hangars and around aircraft. The articulating arm provides a sideways outreach of 2.04 metres. It is fully electric with non-marking tyres and is suited for indoor use where emissions and noise are not acceptable.
If you need a more general vertical mast lift for industrial use, the 80 VJR and 100 VJR are available with similar working height but without aircraft-specific basket adaptations.
Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a course with us.
