Description
The PC1250-11 is a crawler excavator from Komatsu in the 124-tonne class, built for the heaviest applications where maximum capacity is essential.
PC stands for Power Crawler and 1250 refers to the weight class of around 116 to 118 tonnes. This is the machine for large quarries, mining operations, large-scale excavation and foundation work in demanding ground conditions. The engine delivers 578 kW and in Power Plus mode draws on full engine output for the heaviest operations. With a bucket capacity of 6.7 m³, large volumes of material are moved efficiently per cycle.
Compared to both the PC700 and PC950, the PC1250 delivers significantly greater lifting and digging capacity and is built for continuous operation under heavy conditions. KomVision provides the operator with a real-time bird's-eye view of the machine's surroundings via onboard cameras. KOMTRAX Plus enables expanded fleet monitoring via satellite and wireless LAN, including component condition and trend data.
You can find the full range of Komatsu excavators at Hesselberg. Operating the PC1250-11 requires a machine operator's licence, typically class M2. Hesselberg offers heavy equipment operator courses for certification and skills development.
