Description

The Komatsu 390 excavator (PC390HRD-11) is a specialised demolition excavator from Komatsu, built for demanding demolition work, remediation and heavy construction projects. It combines high reach with solid stability and is well suited to more confined jobsites where capacity requirements remain high.

The machine can be configured for both high-reach demolition and conventional ground-level excavation, allowing the same machine to be used throughout an entire project. With an operating weight of around 39 tonnes depending on configuration, it is powered by a Stage V engine delivering 202 kW. The hydraulic system provides precise and smooth control, which is critical in demanding demolition operations. The machine is built with reinforced protection against impact and wear, and the cab is designed with a focus on safety, comfort and visibility, supporting stable operation and high productivity throughout the working day.

For greater reach and capacity, the PC490HRD-11 represents a natural step up in the same series. You can find the full range of Komatsu excavators at Hesselberg.

Operating a PC390HRD-11 requires a machine operator's licence for excavators, typically class M2. Hesselberg offers heavy equipment operator courses for certification and skills development.
