Description

The PC700LC-11 is a large crawler excavator from Komatsu, built for demanding construction work including large-scale excavation, foundation work, road construction and quarrying.

PC stands for Power Crawler, Komatsu's designation for crawler excavators. The number 700 refers to the weight class of around 70 tonnes, while LC means Long Carriage, describing a longer undercarriage that provides additional stability. The machine is powered by a 327 kW engine and has an operating weight of approximately 67,500 to 69,500 kg depending on configuration.

The PC700LC-11 is well suited to large excavation pits, foundation work for commercial buildings and heavy earthmoving where both capacity and reliability are critical. Fuel efficiency improvements over the previous generation, combined with KOMTRAX telematics for fleet management and the Komatsu CARE maintenance programme, contribute to low operating costs over the machine's lifetime.

You can find the full range of Komatsu excavators at Hesselberg. Operating the PC700LC-11 requires a machine operator's licence for excavators, typically class M2. Hesselberg offers heavy equipment operator courses for certification and skills development.
