Description

The PC950LC-11 is a 95-tonne class crawler excavator from Komatsu, built for projects that demand more capacity than 70-tonne machines can deliver.

PC stands for Power Crawler, 950 refers to the machine's weight class, and LC means Long Carriage, describing a longer undercarriage for increased stability. The machine is powered by a 405 kW Stage V engine and offers three selectable operating modes: Economy, Power and Power Plus, with the latter drawing maximum engine output for the heaviest operations. Compared to the PC700, the PC950 delivers significantly greater lifting capacity and digging force, making it particularly well suited to large excavation pits, deep foundation work and handling high volumes of rock and material.

An independent swing system and new electronic hydraulic system contribute to fast cycle times and low fuel consumption. KomVision provides the operator with a real-time bird's-eye view of the machine's surroundings via onboard cameras, reducing the risk of incidents on confined jobsites. KOMTRAX telematics and the Komatsu CARE maintenance programme support efficient fleet management and operational reliability.

You can find the full range of Komatsu excavators at Hesselberg. Operating the PC950LC-11 requires a machine operator's licence, typically class M2. Hesselberg offers heavy equipment operator courses for certification and skills development.
