Description
The SE 0808 is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou, of the scissor lift type.
It is the smallest in Manitou's range of SE mobile elevating work platforms.
SE stands for Scissor Electric, and the numbers in the model name describe the machine: the first two digits (08) indicate the working height of approximately 8 metres, and the last two (08) indicate the platform width of approximately 8 decimetres.
With a width of 81 cm, the SE 0808 is built to work where other machines cannot reach. It operates quietly and emission-free, and maintenance-free motors make it a reliable machine for heavy working seasons. The basket is equipped with side supports and a high door as standard, and can be extended for additional outreach.
Typical applications are industrial maintenance of ventilation, lighting and climate control systems, and indoor finishing work such as electrical, plumbing and fire protection installation, in spaces where the machine needs to move frequently between working positions.
If you need more height, the SE 1008 is available with 9.99 metres of working height, or the SE 1212 with 11.8 metres and capacity for 3 persons. If you would prefer to reach around obstacles, a vertical boom lift such as the 100 VJR is an alternative.
Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a machine operator course with us.
