Description
The SE 1008 is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou, of the scissor lift type.
It is the mid-range model in Manitou's SE range of mobile elevating work platforms. SE stands for Scissor Electric, and the numbers in the model name describe the machine: the first two digits (10) indicate the working height of approximately 10 metres, and the last two (08) indicate the platform width of approximately 8 decimetres.
For jobsites where the machine constantly needs to move between positions, the SE 1008 is well adapted. It is quiet, emission-free and equipped with maintenance-free motors, and comes standard with side supports and a high door for operator comfort and safety. Proportional controls provide precise positioning, which is particularly valuable in repetitive work where the operator needs millimetre precision.
Typical applications are industrial maintenance of ventilation, climate control and lighting systems, and indoor finishing work such as electrical, plumbing and fire protection in buildings, warehouses and industrial facilities.
If you need a lower machine in tighter aisles, the SE 0808 is available. If you need more height and a larger platform, the SE 1212 is available with 11.8 metres and capacity for 3 persons.
