Description
The SE 1212 is an electric mobile elevating work platform from Manitou, of the scissor lift type.
It is the largest in Manitou's SE range of mobile elevating work platforms. SE stands for Scissor Electric, and the numbers in the model name describe the machine: the first two digits (12) indicate the working height of approximately 12 metres, and the last two (12) indicate the platform width of approximately 12 decimetres.
The SE 1212 is designed to place the operator at the heart of the working operation. Proportional controls provide millimetre precision in tight environments, and the wide platform holds up to 3 persons and 350 kg, allowing several operators or more equipment to work at height at the same time. Long battery life and maintenance-free motors keep operating costs low over time.
The machine is particularly well suited to indoor finishing work in buildings, installation of technical systems and maintenance in production halls and logistics facilities where efficiency depends on having good working space in the basket.
If you need a narrower machine, the SE 1008 and SE 0808 are available. If you need to reach to the side and around obstacles, a vertical boom lift such as the 100 VJR is an alternative.
Operating a mobile elevating work platform of this type requires a valid certificate, which can be obtained through a machine operator course with us.
