Description
The Komatsu WA1200-6 is Komatsu’s largest and most productive wheel loader, developed for mining operations. In the model name, 1200 refers to the model series and -6 indicates the model generation.
According to the Komatsu WA1200-6 product page, the machine has a 1,411 kW (1,892 hp) engine, an operating weight of 220.55 tonnes and a tipping load of 121.9 tonnes. Bucket capacity is 18–35 m³. The WA1200-6 is part of the range of Komatsu wheel loaders at Hesselberg.
From the low-vibration cab, the operator uses advanced joystick control and a modulated clutch drive system to manoeuvre in tight areas and load trucks of up to 320 tonnes. High stability and breakout force give the operator the confidence to keep up with the production demands of today’s mines.
Komtrax Plus continuously monitors the machine’s settings, condition, fuel usage and performance along with operating practices. The data is designed to help prolong the machine’s life, improve efficiency and optimise production and costs.
If you need a smaller machine, take a look at the WA900-8. The WA1200-6 has much higher engine output (1,411 kW vs 672 kW), tipping load (121.9 t vs 63.61 t) and operating weight (220.55 t vs 116.4 t).
