Description
The Komatsu WA320-8 is a wheel loader built for loading material and earthmoving, with easy operation and high versatility. In the model name, 320 refers to the model series and -8 indicates the model generation.
According to the Komatsu WA320-8 product page, the machine has a 127 kW (170 hp) engine, an operating weight of 15.7–16.56 tonnes and a tipping load of 11.74 tonnes. Bucket capacity is 2.6–2.8 m³. The WA320-8 is part of the range of Komatsu wheel loaders at Hesselberg.
The engine meets EU Stage V. The hydrostatic drive line gives instant response, fast loading cycles and easy control in confined areas. Torque-Proportional-Differential and automatic traction control give strong traction and minimised tyre wear. Speed is controlled steplessly with a creeping function, and you can select the top speed for increased safety. Komatsu SmartLoader Logic, high-efficiency buckets and adjustable idle shutdown help reduce fuel consumption. 23.5 R25 tyres are available as an option.
The PZ-linkage combines the advantages of a Z-bar linkage with parallel lift. Komatsu states that the machine has the highest breakout force in its class, and the linkage also gives fast pallet handling, easy bucket fill and good control of heavy attachments. An aggregate handling linkage is available. The machine has a hydraulic quick coupler, and Komatsu offers a wide range of buckets and attachments, including a universal bucket, an earthmoving bucket, a stockpile bucket with raised bottom, a mulch grab bucket and a high-dump bucket. Tailored solutions are also available for salt and chemical applications, waste and recycling, silage and agriculture, and port and harbour work.
The operator gets a new air-suspended seat, a large multifunctional monitor, a low-noise cab and Komatsu short lever steering (K-SLS). The machine has a rear-view camera and steps for cleaning the front window, and a 4-point seat belt is available as an option. The radiator is wide-core with an auto-reverse fan, the engine doors open gull-wing style, and the machine has a factory-fitted automatic lubrication system. Komtrax is Komatsu’s wireless monitoring system, which makes it easy to track your machine’s location, performance and status.
If you need a slightly smaller machine, take a look at the WA270-8. The WA320-8 has higher engine output (127 kW vs 115 kW), tipping load (11.74 t vs 10.18 t) and operating weight (15.7–16.56 t vs 12.975–13.525 t).
