Description

The Komatsu WA700-8 is a powerful wheel loader developed for quarry and mining operations. Komatsu draws on more than a century of experience in the industry and describes the machine as a partner for its 60-tonne rigid dump trucks. In the model name, 700 refers to the model series and -8 indicates the model generation.

According to the Komatsu WA700-8 product page, the machine has a 578 kW (775 hp) engine, an operating weight of 97.1 tonnes and a tipping load of 59.1 tonnes. Bucket capacity is 8.7–10.3 m³. The WA700-8 is part of the range of Komatsu wheel loaders at Hesselberg.

The machine is designed for safety, productivity, power and stability, with large load capacity and bucket volume. The cab is spacious and ergonomically designed, so the operator can stay productive through long shifts.

Komtrax Plus continuously monitors the machine’s settings, condition, fuel usage and performance along with operating practices. The data is designed to help prolong the machine’s life, improve efficiency and optimise production and costs.

If you need a smaller machine, take a look at the WA600-8. The WA700-8 has higher engine output (578 kW vs 396 kW), tipping load (59.1 t vs 36.1 t) and operating weight (97.1 t vs 54.17–56.74 t). If you need even more capacity, take a look at the WA800-8.
