Komatsu WA70M-8

Description

The Komatsu WA70M-8 is a compact wheel loader that combines operator comfort, visibility and safety with easy operation. In the model name, 70 refers to the size class, while M-8 indicates the series and generation.

According to the Komatsu WA70M-8 product page, the machine has a 46.2 kW (62 hp) engine, an operating weight of 4,980–5,300 kg and a tipping load of 4.22 tonnes. Bucket capacity is 0.75–1.25 m³. The WA70M-8 is part of the range of Komatsu wheel loaders at Hesselberg.

The WA70M-8 has a Komatsu SAA4D94LE-3 engine that meets EU Stage V and delivers high torque even at low rpm. A fully automatic hydrostatic transmission sends power to all four wheels. A low centre of gravity improves stability, and the compact dimensions and a new engine hood give good all-round visibility. The rear axle oscillates, which gives suspension-like operator comfort and strong, stable landscaping and earthmoving performance.

The large cabin has big storage boxes, wide windows and ample leg space. Switches and hydraulic levers are easy to reach.

The machine suits construction sites and gardening, landscaping and agricultural work. Parallel lift with Easy Fork kinematics gives good visibility of the attachment and tyres when working with pallet forks. A hydraulic quick coupler is fitted as standard, and a wide range of attachments is available.

The cab tilts up, giving quick and easy access to all components for servicing. Komtrax is Komatsu’s wireless monitoring system, which makes it easy to track your machine’s location, performance and status.
