G11
The purpose of this course is to provide riggers and future crane operators with thorough theoretical training in crane operations. The theory course is essential for all crane operator certifications.
This course covers Modules 1.1 and 2.3.
The course includes:
- Basic HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
- Requirements for riggers/crane operators
- Slings and lifting equipment
- Accidents, crane structure, and operating principles
- Inspection, reporting, and maintenance
- Operational and safety regulations
Once the theory is completed and passed, participants must undergo practical training, which can be carried out at SSGR.
A certificate of competence is issued upon successful completion of both the theory and practical components.
G4
This course provides future overhead crane operators with thorough training in the use of overhead (bridge) cranes.
The training emphasizes safety and proper attitudes toward crane lifting operations.
The course covers the following modules:
- Module 1 – Safety, responsibility, and inspection (theory)
- Module 2.3 – Rigger and signal giver (theory)
- Module 2.7 – Bridge and overhead crane (theory)
- Module 3.7 – Basic practical training with overhead crane
- Module 4.7 – Extended practical training after successful theory completion
