Description

The Linde E100–E180 (1471 series) is an electric heavy duty forklift from Linde, covering lifting capacities from 10 tonnes (E100) to 18 tonnes (E180) with lift heights of up to 10 metres.

Where the HT100–HT180 (1411 series) uses a diesel engine and hydrodynamic drivetrain for fast transport over long distances, the E100–E180 is the electric alternative in the same weight class. The E series is the choice for operations that want emission-free and quiet operation even in the heaviest weight class, and where charging infrastructure is available. It is particularly relevant in the timber and steel industries, beverage logistics and heavy industry where indoor air quality and noise requirements limit the use of diesel.

The drivetrain is based on Linde's well-proven 8-tonne electric platform, but doubled: four drive motors, four lift motors of 25 kW each and two battery packs ensure sufficient power for all operations. The batteries can be either lead-acid for light to medium use, or lithium-ion for intensive continuous operation. Switching between the two battery types requires no hardware changes. A tiltable cab provides easy access to all key components.

The batteries are fully integrated into the chassis, and the counterweight tapers towards the rear of the truck, giving unobstructed rearward visibility from the operator compartment. A reinforced glass roof is standard, providing upward visibility when lifting at height as well as protection against falling objects.

Operating a forklift of this type requires a forklift operator licence class T6, which can be obtained through a large forklift course class T6–T8 with us.
