E60 - E80

Description

The Linde E60–E80 (1279 series) is an electric forklift from Linde, covering lifting capacities from 6.0 tonnes (E60) to 8.0 tonnes (E80). It is the heaviest electric counterbalance forklift in the Linde range and is built for heavy continuous operation where emission-free technology is a requirement, such as in the food industry, beverage logistics and other indoor environments with strict air quality demands.

The H50–H80 (396 series) covers the same weight class with an internal combustion engine and is better suited where the truck is used extensively outdoors or where charging infrastructure is not available. The E35–E50 (1254 series) is the lighter electric sibling series from 3.5 to 5.0 tonnes and is the choice where loads are smaller. The E60–E80 is the choice for operations that want electric drive even in the heaviest weight class.

Drive is provided by two powerful three-phase AC motors integrated in a compact front axle, with four-wheel drive on the E70 and E80. The entire drive axle, including motors, reduction gearing and oil-bath disc brakes, is maintenance-free.

Top speed is 16 km/h laden and unladen, and maximum traction force is 43,000 N. The first service is not required until after 1,000 operating hours, with hydraulic oil replacement only needed after 6,000 hours. In-cab noise level is below 65 dB(A).

Linde Load Control and twin-pedal steering provide precise and intuitive control over travel and mast movements. The seat and armrest unit is adjustable in multiple directions, and the operator compartment is decoupled from the drive axle with rubber mounts to reduce vibration reaching the operator.

Operating a forklift requires a forklift operator licence class T4, which can be obtained through a forklift operator course with us.
